The GBDX2400120BC FLEX-HONE® tool for surface finishing and deburring is designed for nominal bore sizes between 23.001" and 24.000". This tool features 12.00" of abrasive globules which are composed of 120 grit Boron Carbide (BC) and are excellent for Medium to high carbon steels and heat-treated steels to 50 Rc. It is also useful in titanium. Constructed using a steel drum with replaceable honing sections.

The BRM Extra Heavy Duty GBDX Series FLEX-HONE® Tool is a resilient, flexible honing tool with a soft cutting action. It's unique construction allows the abrasive globules or "stones" to float, assuring the tool will be self-centering, self-aligning to the bore and self-compensating for wear. The tool is constructed using a steel drum with replaceable honing sections allowing one drum to cover a range of bore diameters from 19”- 36” and to allow multiple grits or abrasive types. Shaft diameters range from 3/4" to 1-1/4", depending on drum diameter. Whether your need is cross hole deburring, surface finishing or edge blending there is a FLEX-HONE® Tool designed for you. A non-directional or crosshatched pattern is created on the surface that contains valuable valleys between the plateaus for oil retention. In Hydraulic, Pneumatic or Industrial applications, the FLEX-HONE® Tool will provide a superior surface finish bringing increased product performance, longer product life and less product reject.
